Dr. Markus Krall – Ist der Euro am Ende?

Dr. Markus Krall has a doctorate in economics and is the author of several bestsellers in the Spiegel series (e.g. bspw. «Der Draghi-Crash», «Wenn schwarze Schwäne Junge kriegen»”).

As former banking and insurance consultant, he worked for many years in risk management at various companies – including as a consultant at BCG, Managing Director at Goetz Partners, Head of Risk Management Germany at McKinsey and Partner at Roland Berger.

About 80 percent of the risk rating systems of all German banks were developed under his leadership, which makes him incredibly brings valuable insights from within, which allow precise analyses of the enormous risks for them.

Global Case Competition Harvard 2020

HIC Members got an invitation to participate in the Global Case Competition Harward 2020 (GCCH)! The GCCH is one of the most prestigious and largest finance case competitions worldwide. The competition is organized by the Harvard College European Business Group (EBG), Harvard Graduate Business Club (GSAS) and the IFSA Network.

The case focuses on a recent M&A, Private Equity, and Investment Banking scenario. The case will be released to participating teams on February 24, 2020 and competitors will have until March 13, 2020 to solve it. The top 10 teams will get the opportunity to present their case solution at our final event on April 24, 2020 at Harvard University to a distinct panel. The panel of judges consists of esteemed professors and distinguished industry professionals. The winning team will be entitled to a cash prize of USD 10,000.

The GCCH is an outstanding opportunity to learn and interact with students, cultivate an influential network, and engage with distinguished finance professionals.
