About the Event:
For this exclusive event, members of General Atlantic’s Munich-based investment team will come to the University of St. Gallen to speak to students about the ins and outs of growth equity. They will discuss how General Atlantic leaves a lasting footprint in the German ecosystem with investments in companies of the likes of Flixbus, Kahoot, Gymshark, Typeform, Chrono24, Staffbase, Swiss Marketplace Group or Backmarket. During an interactive case study, participants will have the opportunity to understand General Atlantic’s investment thesis, the process of such an investment, the time during portfolio management, as well as value creation opportunities and exit considerations. Following the event, selected participants will be invited to join the team for dinner to share further insights in a more informal setting. Among those attending the dinner, promising candidates will be invited to first round interviews.
